About the Role:

NDRA (National Debt Recovery Agency), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Claims & Recoveries Officer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of debt recovery matters on behalf of external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers. You’ll oversee the full recovery lifecycle - from claim initiation through to resolution -negotiating outcomes, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of matters from initiation through to resolution.

• Liaising with external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers, to obtain documentation, provide updates, and manage expectations.

• Managing inbound and outbound calls with insurers, customers, and third parties to gather information and progress matters.

• Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties to achieve commercially sound outcomes.

• Overseeing and reconciling a ledger of repair, assessing, towing, and credit hire rental invoices.

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth progression.

About You:

• Previous experience in customer service or sales (desirable but not essential).

• Experience in debt recovery, claims management, insurance, or a related field (highly regarded but not essential).

• Confident communicator with strong phone-based negotiation skills.

• Tech-savvy with solid administrative and computer skills.

• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.

• Professional, resilient, and empathetic approach.

• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
