About the Role:
Carbiz is seeking motivated, energetic, and organised Claims & Recoveries Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of accident replacement and credit hire claims, working closely with insurers, customers, and third parties to negotiate outcomes and ensure timely recoveries.
You’ll play a key role in supporting Carbiz’s accident management process, contributing directly to positive customer outcomes and business performance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound calls with insurers, customers, and third parties to gather information and progress claims
Oversee a portfolio of claims, ensuring each case is managed efficiently and in line with company processes
Manage a ledger of credit hire rental invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Negotiate claims and settlements with insurers and third parties to achieve favourable outcomes
Collaborate with internal teams across the business to support seamless claims resolution
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry requirements
About You:
Previous experience in phone-based customer service or sales (preferred)
Experience in automotive, car rental, insurance, or credit hire industries (highly regarded)
Additional language skills such as Mandarin or Cantonese (desirable)
Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities
Warm, confident communicator with a strong sense of empathy
