About the Role:

Carbiz is seeking motivated, energetic, and organised Claims & Recoveries Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of accident replacement and credit hire claims, working closely with insurers, customers, and third parties to negotiate outcomes and ensure timely recoveries.

You’ll play a key role in supporting Carbiz’s accident management process, contributing directly to positive customer outcomes and business performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound calls with insurers, customers, and third parties to gather information and progress claims

• Oversee a portfolio of claims, ensuring each case is managed efficiently and in line with company processes

• Manage a ledger of credit hire rental invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

• Negotiate claims and settlements with insurers and third parties to achieve favourable outcomes

• Collaborate with internal teams across the business to support seamless claims resolution

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry requirements

About You:

• Previous experience in phone-based customer service or sales (preferred)

• Experience in automotive, car rental, insurance, or credit hire industries (highly regarded)

• Additional language skills such as Mandarin or Cantonese (desirable)

• Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities

• Warm, confident communicator with a strong sense of empathy
