About the Role:
Carbiz is expanding in NSW and we’re looking for a driven and relationship‑focused Business Development Manager to lead growth across the Inner West, Eastern and/or Lower North region of Sydney. In this role, you’ll build and foster strategic partnerships with prospective clients and key stakeholders, helping strengthen our presence in a rapidly growing market.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Identify, target, and develop new client relationships across the Inner West, Eastern and/or Lower North region of Sydney
Schedule and conduct face‑to‑face meetings with clients and referrers
Educate partners on Carbiz initiatives, processes, and points of difference
Log detailed activity, visits, and commentary to support accurate reporting
Manage new clients and ensure a seamless handover to the Partnership Success Team
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to anticipate new opportunities
About You
3+ years’ experience in field‑based Sales, Account Management, or Business Development preferred (but not essential - we hire for attitude)
Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally (Essential)
Proven ability to build long‑term relationships with customers and clients
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and partnership‑building skills
Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities
A positive, can‑do attitude with a collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional service
